New Group Exercise Schedule starts Sep. 1st!
The Jerusalem YMCA is happy to announce that we are adding 2 new group exercise classes to our lineup, Barre with Orit and HIIT with Aviva.
You’ve admired dancers’ bodies, admit it (we all have). Barre combines Pilates, yoga and ballet moves to give you beautiful, sculpted, lean muscles – without the impact and injuries dancers endure. Barre class has physical as well as the aesthetic benefits of lengthening muscles, while strengthening them.
is all the hype lately. HIIT, or high-intensity interval training, is a training technique in which you give all-out, one hundred percent effort through quick, intense bursts of exercise, followed by short, sometimes active, recovery periods. This type of training gets and keeps your heart rate up and burns more fat in less time.
In addition, we have also added a Friday morning Spin class for women at 8:15 and all Friday classes have slightly changed their time, most moving forward 15 minutes while Yoga with Orly has moved back 30 minutes to 8:00 am.
Step class has moved to Monday evenings at 19:15 and Kickboxing has moved to Sunday evenings at 20:00.
