Immediately following Pope Francis’ pilgrimage, on Monday night, The Jerusalem International YMCA will host an interfaith forum entitled ‘Reminiscences and Reflections from an Interfaith Pilgrimage with Pope Francis’.

Participants will be members of the pope’s retinue and those who took part in a private interfaith moment with the Pope. Held under the auspices of the Elijah Interfaith Institute, speakers will include Rabbi Avraham Skorka, (the Pope’s Rabbi), Imam Omar Aboud (Buenos Aires), Swami Chidananda Saraswati (India), Sadhvi Bhagavati Saraswati (India), and Bhai Sahib Bhai Mohinder Singh (United Kingdom). The moderator will be Alon Goshen Gottstein (Israel).

The religious leaders will reflect on the memories, meanings and HOPES arising from this papal visit, which has ramifications and provides hope for interfaith relations in Jerusalem and the Holy Land.
